Kate Moss Never Goes To Paris Without Some Classic Chanel

Like her fellow accessories enthusiasts Victoria Beckham, Kim Kardashian and Rihanna, Kate Moss’s handbag collection is her secret wardrobe weapon. The supermodel is the owner of several Hermes Birkins, as well as capacious styles from Saint Laurent, Dior, Mulberry and Balenciaga. But her Chanel bags are perhaps the most timeless of all the pieces she owns.

Moss was recently seen with a 2.55 Reissue slung ober her shoulder at Paris Fashion Week, the finishing touch to her very Parisian look: a flowing black skirt, platform boots, a pinstripe ref blouse, leather jacket and gold wire – rimmed sunglasses.

Kate’s Chanel purse has history. The 2.55 Reissue was unveiled by Chanel’s late creative director Karl Lagerfeld in 2005, on the 50th anniversary of its original release. It’s an exact replica of the original 2.55 that was designed by house founder Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel in 1955 (hence the name). The bag has a subtle, logo – free Mademoiselle lock, quilted leather outer and a chain that can be tucked tightly over the shoulder as a double strap or worn longer as a single.

It’s one of several covetable bag designs to be spied on Kate’s arm during what has been a whirlwind fashion month for the super.
