After dominating the film industry, Scarlett Johansson is trying her hand at a beauty. The actress announced that she will be launching her own skincare brand in 2022 in partnership with beauty / fashion Kate Foster.
Johansson will serve as the Founder and Chairman of the new unnamed company, while is credited as the CO – Founder and CEO. The brand is being funded by The Najafi Companies, a private investment firm that is also behind Tracee Ellis Ross’ Pattern Beauty.
While the Marriage Story star has held several brand ambassadorship for luxury beauty labels including being the face of Dolce & Gabbana makeup and perfume, this will be her first time venturing out on her own.
‘I’ve been fascinated by the transformative power of beauty since I was a child. My mother instilled in me as passion for self – care from my early teenage years. Several years ago, I took a step back from my beauty deals with the goal of creating something true to me. The result is a clean, accessible approach to beauty’, said Johansson in a statement.
