After staging Dior’s Cruise 2022 collection in Athens, Greece, Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri comes home to Paris for the Haute Couture runway. But not without taking taking inspiration the Sala dei Ricami in Rome’s Palazzo Colonna, where richly patterned tapestries adorn the space. Artist Eva Jospin explores similar themes of nature in her own work.’Chamre de Soie’, that decorates the show’s set and complements the printed silk pieces in the collection.

The silhouette stick to Chiuri’s modernization of the Bar suit, with nipped – in waists and full skirts, alongside flowing gowns and tailored separates. Outerwear is an unexpected star of the Fall / Winter 2021 Haute Couture collection, with cape – like trench coats bringing volume and color to the lineup.
